| This summer's July 4th celebrations are back in full force, with all the traditional and not-so-traditional local Independence Day fun. Checkout the lineup of events in Park City, Midway, and Oakley! Due to the continuing drought conditions, and concerns over wildfires, the traditional city-sponsored fireworks in Park City proper will not be taking place this year. However, we're excited to experience three nights of drone light shows at Canyons Village, in addition to their fireworks show on July 3. Who knows, these drone shows might become an enduring tradition! |

Arrive early for the parade to secure your spot, it's an enormously popular event, and consider biking or using public transportation as parking will be scarce.

JULY 4th 5K FUN RUN BENEFIT FOR
SKI AND SNOWBOARD July 4 | 8 - 10am | Cole Sport
This race has a wonderful history, going back to the early 1980s. This summer marks the 38th year for the 4th of July 5K Fun Run in our community. Each year, 1,000 or more runners take part in this tradition, including all ages and abilities, finally back to the usual "in-person" format. All proceeds from entry fees benefit Park City Ski & Snowboard .
